Ios Kykladon

Ios is located between Naxos, Sikinos and Santorini. The whitewashed villages and the beautiful sandy beaches will fascinate you. In the late 60s, Ios became a popular destination for young tourists, especially for hippies, who chose Mylopotas beach to camp in groups. How to get there:

By boat: Ios is connected to the port of Piraeus as well as other islands of the Cyclades. The trip from Piraeus takes about 7 hours by ferry while it takes 3 1/2 hours with a speedboat. The frequency of the routes vary according to the season.
By plane: There is no airport on Ios, the nearest one is that of Santorini with a modern and fully equipped helipad.
