Paros Kykladon
Paros is situated in the center of the Cyclades. It is a traditional Greek island, famous for its architecture, lovely beaches and nightlife. Paros is one of the main centers of Cycladic Civilization due to the fine marble that lies under its surface. The flawless Parian marble became famous for its composition and has been used for statues worldwide. Paros is also famous for its honey, olive oil, traditional marzipans, wine and vinegar.
The capital of the island is Paroikia which is also the main port and biggest village of the island. Other beautiful places to visit are Naoussa, the popular resort of Pounda, Golden Beach and New Golden Beach which attract many windsurfers.

By ship: From Piraeus and Rafina with speedboats or conventional ships. Paros is also connected with the ports of Syros, Mykonos, Tinos, Andros, Sifnos, Serifos, Milos, Kimolos, Folegandros, Sikinos, Naxos, Ios, Santorini, Amorgos, Anafi, Astypalaia, Antiparos and Heraklion of Crete.
