Paxoi Corfu

These islands are of unique natural beauty, with Paxos resembling a vast olive grove and Antipaxos a big vineyard. They are characterized by dense vegetation, crystal clear waters and picturesque coastal villages. The eastern coast of Paxos has many beaches, while the western side is steeper with caves and cliffs. The beaches of Antipaxos are very popular because of the white sand and the turquoise waters.

The capital of Paxos is Gaios, a beautiful village built on the harbor. Today Paxos has about 2,300 permanent residents, while in the summer it hosts more than 200,000 visitors. While Gaios is the cosmopolitan capital of the island, Lakka and Loggos are more traditional and thus, ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday.

How to get there:

The port of Gaios is connected with the ports of Igoumenitsa and Corfu. From Igoumenitsa the journey takes about an hour and it is even faster if you take the flying dolphin from Corfu.
Paxos is also connected to Antipaxos with daily departures from both ports.
